Treasurer's Report (B. DiBella) - Bob presented the treasurer's report and reviewed the summary and transaction report and stated that the account is still in good condition as of August 31, 2011. A motion was made by Steve and seconded by Angelo to accept the treasurer’s report as submitted. All in attendance were in favor. Motion carried.

Registrar's Report – The registration system is up and running. Coaches need to go online and start registering. As coaches you need to register on our website, complete risk management, and complete a licensing course through CDYSL or ENY. Assistant coaches do not need a license. The club will reimburse coaches ½ the price for the coaching license. Anyone listed on the roster including managers or assistant coaches need to complete risk management. Registration will not be completed by CDYSL unless all adults on the roster have completed their risk management.

The registration process has changed this year so that you can upload a picture through the system and do not have to submit copies to the registar. If parents or coaches are unable to submit pictures Steve would like one sheet with thumbnails of all the pictures for the team. We will set up a managers meeting to go over the registration process. It is very important for you to find a team manager so that you can coach and they can take care of the administrative function for you. Please get the manager names and contact information to Angela as soon as possible. As coaches and managers please check the registration website often and let Steve know when the roster is complete.

Fall Soccer - First week went well however there have been a number of last minute registrations. There has been a lot of positive feedback from parents on the organization of the fall recreation season. Numbers are down a bit this fall with about 500 kids. The club is offering a goalie clinic this Sunday from 3-4. This will be for all recreation age players. The two following weeks an additional clinic will be held for $5.00.

Our rec program has always been K-6 a number of other programs have rec soccer for older. Discussion was held late in the spring about expanding to 7/8 grade and we would like thoughts on whether to do it next year. We could set it up and if we do not have the interest give money back or look at working with another club. Board will discuss the 7/8 program over the next few months. It was very difficult filling coaching positions this year. It was suggested that the club offer coaches a clinic on top of the coaching packet that is given out. A Coaching/player clinic with the varsity players will be held 10/9 4-5pm at the Rotterdam fields. Cory will run the boys clinic with Mohonasen players and Angelo will run the girls clinic with Schalmont players.

Travel Teams - Placements will be held on 10/2 from 1-2:30 for boys and girls 12 and under. Pat will put a flyer together to distribute at the fields during rec and an email will go out to everyone playing rec.

Dave will hand out coaching contracts. Both volunteer and paid coaches need to sign a contract.

The club is trying an academy program for the U14 boys group this year. We have 14 players selected on the travel team with 8-9 on the academy team. This is something we may need to look at for the U14 girls team. Bobby Jones will coach the second U14 girls team if we have enough players. Players in the older age groups will be contacted over the next few weeks. Next meeting we will be assigning practice times for indoor. Kids need to be registered before starting indoor practice otherwise a waiver needs to be signed before practicing indoor.

Old Business – Nothing to report at this time.

New Business - Anniversary dinner will be held on 10/29. More details coming through email. Dave attended the CDYSL annual meeting in August. They elected new officers Pat Ramundo was re-elected as president of CDYSL. The fees for CDYSL and referee fees will not be going up this year. Discussion was held about moving from Eastern NY to US Club Soccer. However nothing was decided at this time.

A managers meeting will be held on Monday 10/17 at 7:00 at Colombo club. Please notify your managers and send Angela their contact information.

With no other topics to be discussed, a motion was made by Pat seconded by Chet to adjourn the meeting at 8:40pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Angela Bush
